When you gain weight it’s so easy to put off losing the weight, because there are thousands of diets out there, and some are a huge waste of money and some work for only about a week. There are a couple of things to look for when you are choosing a diet plan that fits your needs best.
I have two favorites, because they work and they are healthy. You won’t go hungry on either one of them, which is important. The first diet helps you lose weight quickly and keep it off for good. You will see how you can even lose 14 pounds in 14 days. Of course if you only need to lose 10 pounds, you won’t lose 14.
What’s Your Type of Diet?
Everyone is different with their own preferences, for instance I couldn’t stand being on the Atkins diet. I actually felt sick to my stomach and I was craving fruit. Believe it or not, I attempted that diet two times. Sheesh, you would think after the first time, I would ‘get it’ that it wasn’t the diet for me.
I’ve done them all, besides Atkins I also tried low-calorie, low-fat and pretty much just starving myself. Not eating enough totally slowed my metabolism down, which in turn made me gain more weight.
I know I’ve tried too many plans over the years, and I like this one the best - so far. I used to eat a lot of junk food, and it showed in my skin, and of course my weight. Now that I’m healthy, I won’t look into any type of diet plan or diet supplement that’s not a natural way to lose weight.

One of the friends in my walking group tried this diet to help her burn fat and she has lost about 17 pounds. She said when choosing a diet plan that fits your needs, to try one that makes it easy to follow and has a menu generator so you don’t have to try and figure out what’s okay to eat or not.
The second diet plan is for quick weight loss, more than for long-term weight loss, but it totally works. I don’t know one person it hasn’t worked for and you won’t go hungry on this one either. In the past when I would try to really limit my calorie and food intake, I always quit the diet and ate more than when I started.
